St Gobain PAM UK has been awarded a £5 million-plus contract to supply manhole covers to Bournemouth Water, Wessex Water, Bristol Water , Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and Wales & West Utilities Limited.

Bournemouth Water acted as lead procurement organisation for the supply of ductile iron access covers and frames to members of the Western Procurement Hub.

Total final value of the contract, which was tendered in two Lots, is £5.4 million. Four companies were in the bidding for Lot 1 Small Covers and Frames worth £2. 2 million, while three companies bid Lot  2 Large Covers and Frames worth £3.2 million.
